Photos and video from Cape Wrath Trail expeditions winter 08/09 & 09/10.

Beautiful shot of the approach to Loch Nevis and Sourlies bothy with Knoydart in the background (with thanks to PeterinthePeak). Peter makes the point that in some places the draw of the Cape takes the “main” route away from some of the most stunning scenery. I think he’s probably right, but the first section through the rough bounds of Knoydart and up to Kinlochewe is perhaps one of the finest and a fitting start to the route. Click for high-res photo
